This privacy policy explains how KiwiSaver Guide (kiwisaver-nz.tatpenguin.xyz) handles information when you visit this website. It covers New Zealand KiwiSaver for readers in New Zealand. KiwiSaver Guide is an independently published information site — it is not operated by, and is not affiliated with, Inland Revenue, the New Zealand Government, or any product provider mentioned in its guides.
1. What we collect
This is a static website. There are no accounts, no logins, no comment forms, no newsletter sign-ups and no calculators that transmit your data to us. We do not ask for and do not store your name, email address, IRD number, income figures, KiwiSaver balance or any other personal information.
Like almost every website, our web server records standard technical information in an access log — the requested page, the date and time, the referring page, the browser's user-agent string and the IP address the request came from. This log exists for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, and is retained by the host for a limited period only. We do not use it to identify individual readers, and we do not attempt to connect log entries to any person.
2. Cookies
The pages on this site do not set cookies of their own and do not use local storage to track you. 6. Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020
New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 gives you the right to ask what personal information an agency holds about you, to ask for it to be corrected, and to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. Because KiwiSaver Guide does not collect personal information, we would normally hold nothing about you.
